The Who – The Kids Are Alright [VHS]
Half its members may be dead and its leader may be keeping a low profile, but the Who remains enormously popular. Devotees who haven’t availed themselves of Jeff Stein’s thrilling, self-mocking 1979 documentary about the group shouldn’t wait another minute now that the film has been painstakingly–perhaps heroically–restored to its theatrical-release length from original elements. The sound is clearer than on previous video releases, images are once more crisp and color-rich, and adjustments in

I’m not gay, but why is it that movies featuring lesbians always end up with one of them sleeping with a man? Chasing Amy, Gigli, She Hate Me and this one are all about lesbians who are really just waiting for the right guy to put them on the path to heterosexuality. Seems like there are more gay male positive movies than lesbian ones.
Why couldn’t Jules cheat with a woman? Why is it always a man who splits them up? I think these movies are not only lesbophobic but also sexist by implying that women can’t live without men.
I haven’t seen it in front of anything myself, but I’ve heard of it being in front of Babies and MacGruber for some. If I had a theater I’d attach it to almost everything (except kids movies, since you can’t exactly put the trailer to an "R" movie in front of a PG movie)
. Though it’s kind of odd it was in front of Babies since that is PG, even if both movies are from Focus Features.

This smells like another loss to Hilary Swank brewing (Betty Anne Waters).
